Hollywood star Salma Hayek is celebrating a brand-new role: grandmother.

The 59-year-old actress recently shared the joyful news that she has become a first-time grandma after her stepson, François Pinault Jr., welcomed his first child with his wife, Lara Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck.

The baby boy is named François, continuing a four-generation family tradition. Hayek has already given her new grandson an affectionate nickname: “Panchito.”

A Sweet First Glimpse of Baby François

Hayek introduced her grandson to fans through a heartwarming video shared on Instagram. In the clip, she is seen cradling the newborn and speaking softly to him in Spanish.

François Pinault Jr. is one of the three children of Hayek’s husband, French businessman François-Henri Pinault, from previous relationships.

Hayek married François-Henri Pinault in 2009. Together, they have one daughter, Valentina, who is 18 years old.

Through her marriage, Hayek is also stepmother to François Jr., as well as Mathilde and Augustin. The actress has previously spoken warmly about her blended family and the joy her stepchildren have brought into her life.
