Jared Kushner Denies Allegations After Report Claims Hacked Phone Exposed $2 Billion in Secret Foreign Accounts

Jared Kushner, President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and former senior White House adviser, is forcefully denying allegations that foreign bank accounts linked to him held billions of dollars in secret funds intended to influence U.S. foreign policy.

The claims were detailed in a report published by Vanity Fair on October 22, based on an excerpt from investigative journalist Matthew Cole’s forthcoming book, Princes and Thieves: Jared Kushner and Mohamed bin Zayed’s Secret Plot to Remake the Middle East.

According to the report, Dutch intelligence officials allegedly gained access to information from Kushner’s compromised iPhone after recruiting a Russian military intelligence operative. Investigators reportedly monitored images captured from his phone and discovered what appeared to be activity involving bank accounts connected to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, and Israel.

Kushner has categorically denied the allegations, calling them false and insisting that the author provided no verifiable evidence to support the claims.

Report Alleges Billions Moved Through Foreign Bank Accounts

The Vanity Fair report alleges that Dutch intelligence officers discovered Kushner accessing a Dubai-based bank account that had received hundreds of millions of dollars routed through Azerbaijan.

The account was reportedly held at First Abu Dhabi Bank and associated with the Watani Al Emarat Foundation, a UAE government-funded charity. According to Cole’s account, the arrangement was part of a broader network of financial accounts connected to Gulf leaders and Kushner.

The report further alleges that leaders in Saudi Arabia and the UAE made at least $2 billion available through multiple accounts. One account allegedly held approximately $750 million, while another reportedly involved around $1 billion transferred to an account connected to Israel’s central banking system.

Cole’s reporting suggests the funds were intended to support undisclosed diplomatic objectives related to Middle Eastern policy during Trump’s first administration, when Kushner served as a senior White House adviser and played a significant role in regional diplomacy.

However, the allegations have not been independently established, and the report does not present publicly verified bank records or court findings proving that the alleged arrangements occurred as described.

Kushner Calls the Allegations “Completely Insane”

Kushner responded publicly on Thursday, rejecting the claims and accusing the author of publishing unsupported allegations.

“The allegations made by this author are completely insane and never happened,” Kushner said in a statement.

He argued that his team had denied the claims before publication and that the report failed to provide documentation to substantiate them.

Kushner specifically pointed to the absence of bank statements, wire transfer records, account numbers, transaction dates, or other verifiable details that could establish the alleged financial arrangements.

He also noted that he had faced extensive media scrutiny and multiple investigations during and after his time in the White House, including providing more than 30 hours of testimony to investigators.

His attorney, Chad Mizelle, also rejected the accusations, describing them as false and defamatory. The legal team indicated that legal action was being considered.

Alleged Phone Hack Raises Questions About Intelligence Access

The report describes an alleged espionage operation involving Dutch intelligence officials and a Russian military intelligence operative who was recruited after being apprehended in the United Kingdom.

According to Cole, information obtained through the operation included screenshots of Kushner’s phone, allowing Dutch intelligence officials to observe activity on the device. The report alleges that investigators subsequently developed a way to monitor images appearing on his screen as he used it.

The alleged surveillance reportedly exposed financial activity that raised questions about the relationship between Kushner’s diplomatic responsibilities and the foreign accounts described in the book.

The Dutch military intelligence service has not publicly confirmed the account described in the excerpt, and the alleged phone compromise and financial transactions have not been independently verified.

Questions About Foreign Influence Remain Unresolved

The allegations are significant because Kushner played a central role in several Middle Eastern diplomatic initiatives during Trump’s first term, including efforts involving Israel and Gulf nations.

The report raises questions about whether the alleged financial arrangements were disclosed and whether any money was connected to promises involving U.S. government policy. Those questions remain allegations rather than established findings of misconduct.

Kushner has denied that the accounts and arrangements described in the report existed. His legal team has also challenged the credibility of the reporting.

As the dispute continues, the central issue remains whether documentary evidence can substantiate the claims made in the forthcoming book. For now, the allegations have prompted public scrutiny, while Kushner maintains that they are entirely fabricated.
