In the latest court decision, U.S. District Judge Lewis J. Liman dismissed allegations including sexual harassment, defamation, and conspiracy. Only three claims remain active and are set to proceed to trial: breach of contract, retaliation, and aiding and abetting retaliation.

The case stems from behind-the-scenes conflict during production of the 2024 film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s It Ends With Us. Lively’s legal team said she looks forward to testifying at trial, while the ruling leaves the next stage of the fight focused on a narrower set of allegations.
