The Season 21 trailer confirms that Kody Brown and his wife, Robyn Brown, will not return to the TLC reality series. Their departure leaves Christine Brown Woolley, Janelle Brown and Meri Brown at the center of the show as they continue building separate lives after their relationships with Kody came to an end.
The news comes as a surprise to the three women, who are visibly stunned when they learn that Kody and Robyn are leaving the series.
Kody and Robyn Leave After 16 Years
Kody has been part of Sister Wives since its debut in 2010, when the series introduced viewers to his plural family with Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn.
Over the years, the family structure dramatically changed. Christine left Kody in 2021, followed by Janelle in 2022 and Meri in 2023. Robyn ultimately became Kody's only remaining wife.
Now, Kody and Robyn are stepping away from the show altogether.

Season 21 flips that formula.
