Pregnant woman found shot in BMW during rush hour

A pregnant Atlanta woman was found shot inside her white BMW during rush hour on I-75, and police are investigating whether it was road rage or a targeted attack. The victim was identified as Bianca Huntley, 34, a mother of two who was pregnant with her third child and died after being taken to the hospital.

What happened

Police found Huntley’s car stopped in traffic on I-75 North near North Central Avenue around 6:15 p.m. on a Tuesday. Investigators say they are reviewing traffic cameras and phone data to determine where the shooting happened and who fired the shot.

Family’s reaction

Her brother said she had just gotten off work and was on her way home when she was killed. He described her as a hardworking, loving mother, and the family is asking anyone with information to come forward.

Why it’s drawing attention

The case has sparked outrage because it happened in broad daylight on a busy interstate and left behind two children as well as an unborn baby. Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for information.
