Kylie Jenner is giving fans a first look at the massive home she has been building for the past six years.

The 29-year-old beauty mogul returned to YouTube on Sept. 6 with a new vlog titled “building my dream house,” taking viewers behind the scenes of her sprawling Hidden Hills property. The home is still under construction, but Jenner offered plenty of glimpses at the Italian-inspired design she has been carefully creating since purchasing the land in 2020.

“I really wasn’t going to post about it,” Jenner explained in the video, noting that details about the property had already made their way around the internet.

The $15 Million Hidden Hills Estate

Jenner reportedly purchased the roughly five-acre property for $15 million in 2020. Rather than moving into an existing mansion, she has spent the past six years turning the empty lot into what she calls her “beautiful dream Italian home.”

The estate is designed around a Mediterranean-inspired aesthetic, with natural stone, reclaimed materials and extensive landscaping giving the property the feel of an Italian countryside retreat.

One of the first features Jenner showed viewers was the reclaimed cobblestone driveway leading toward the main residence, surrounded by lavender and mature olive trees.

A Rose Garden Fit for a Princess

The landscaping is clearly a major part of Jenner’s vision.

Along with the lavender and olive trees, she plans to add a rose garden to the property. And Jenner already has a very specific reason for wanting one.

“I just want to be a princess,” she joked during the tour.

The grounds will also include an outdoor entertaining area with a fountain and pizza oven, designed for dinner parties and family celebrations.

One of the more personal details of the property involves Kylie’s sister, Kendall Jenner.

Kylie revealed that some of the younger olive trees on her property came from Kendall after construction at one of Kendall’s homes required the trees to be removed.

Kylie decided to take them rather than let them go to waste, saying they now remind her of her sister whenever she sees them.

Inside Kylie’s Dream Home

Inside, Jenner showed off reclaimed wood flooring, stone floors in the enormous kitchen and custom cabinetry that was still waiting to be stained in its final color.

She also gave fans a look at an old fireplace that had been taken apart and will eventually become part of the entryway. Her design team is incorporating old brick around the fireplace to give the space a more traditional feel.

The bathrooms are equally detailed, with Jenner highlighting marble and stone finishes as well as vintage tile selected for one of the showers.

She also showed several plaster options as she worked with her team to choose the right finish for the main living spaces.

Gym, Spa and Sports Court

The mansion isn't just about the aesthetics.

Jenner revealed that the basement will eventually include a gym and spa area. Outside, a large concrete area is being transformed into a sports court where the family can play different sports.

The property is also expected to include extensive outdoor entertaining areas, making it a home designed as much for hosting as it is for privacy.

Six Years in the Making

Despite all the progress, Jenner's dream house still isn't completely finished.

At the end of the tour, she admitted that after spending so many years working on the project, she's ready for the construction to finally wrap up.

“I feel like I’ve been working on this for so long,” she said, adding that she is ready for the house to be finished so she can finally move in.

For now, fans will have to wait a little longer to see the completed mansion. But after six years of construction, Kylie has finally opened the doors — at least partially — to one of her most ambitious real estate projects yet.
