Katie Holmes Hard-Launches Romance With Jason Bard Yarmosky
The actress made her relationship with artist Jason Bard Yarmosky Instagram official this week, sharing an affectionate birthday tribute to the 39-year-old on September 1. Holmes posted a cozy photo of the pair leaning into each other and smiling, along with a second photo of his birthday cake.
“Happy Birthday to the best of the best…❤️,” Holmes wrote, tagging Yarmosky.
The post marks a notable change for Holmes, who has generally kept her romantic life away from the spotlight.
A Rare Public Display
Holmes, 47, also shared a video to her Instagram Stories showing Yarmosky celebrating his birthday at a dinner surrounded by friends. In the clip, the artist blows out his candles before the couple shares an affectionate embrace.

Holmes and Yarmosky first sparked dating rumors in July when they were spotted holding hands at an East Hampton screening of Olivia Wilde’s film The Invite.
An eyewitness told PEOPLE at the time that the two appeared comfortable together, with Yarmosky whispering to Holmes during the evening and Holmes laughing. They also sat together during the screening, with Holmes resting her head on his shoulder.
The pair were subsequently photographed together in New York City, including during dinner outings. By late July, sources had confirmed to PEOPLE that Holmes and Yarmosky were romantically involved.
They also made their first official public appearance as a couple at a Ferragamo dinner in Bridgehampton on July 24.
