Police in the Bahamas arrested the husband of missing Michigan woman Lynette Hooker after she reportedly fell overboard from a dinghy while the couple was traveling between Hope Town and Elbow Cay. What police said

According to the Royal Bahamas Police Force, the disappearance involved an 8-foot hard-bottom dinghy on Saturday, April 4, and the husband later reported the incident after arriving at a boat yard on Sunday. Police said Lynette Hooker, 55, fell overboard with the boat keys, which caused the engine to shut off.

Case status
