Goth Baddie Pinkchyu Coy About Dating Drake Months After Flirty Livestream | TMZ
The 24-year-old content creator, whose real name is Lin Lamar, was recently asked in Los Angeles whether she and the rapper are officially dating. Rather than giving a straight answer, Pinkchyu laughed and said her friends were telling her not to reveal anything.
Her response has only added more fuel to the speculation surrounding the pair.
Their Connection Started With a Viral Dating Stream
Drake and Pinkchyu first connected during the rapper's viral “20-v-1” dating livestream in August, where Drake interacted with 20 women competing for his attention.
Pinkchyu quickly stood out with her gothic style and playful personality. During their one-on-one conversation, she challenged Drake to bark for her — and he actually did.
Drake later selected Pinkchyu as the woman he was most interested in, telling her that she was intriguing and that he felt their differences could make them compatible. Pinkchyu played along, joking that she thought they were married.
Things Didn't End When the Livestream Did
The pair continued spending time together after the dating stream.
In August, TMZ reported that Drake flew Pinkchyu to Toronto and rented out Casa Loma for a private date. The two were also later reunited for Drake's “Princess” music video, where Pinkchyu gives the rapper a dramatic gothic makeover.
Their continued appearances together have kept fans wondering whether the playful connection from the livestream eventually turned into something more serious.
So far, neither Drake nor Pinkchyu has publicly confirmed that they are a couple.
“They Know” — But She's Not Telling
When TMZ asked Pinkchyu directly whether she and Drake were now “official,” she appeared to look toward her friends before responding that they knew the answer and were telling her not to say anything.
That cryptic response stopped short of confirming a relationship, but it also didn't exactly shut down the rumors.
For now, their relationship status remains private.
What About the House for Her Mom?
The latest conversation also touched on another memorable moment from Drake's dating stream.
During the original livestream, Drake promised to buy a house for Pinkchyu's mother, and Pinkchyu later told TMZ that he was following through on the offer.
In her latest update, she indicated that the house is still “in the works,” with her family already considering a potential home.
Fans Will Have to Keep Guessing
From a viral dating-show appearance to a private Toronto date and a music-video reunion, Pinkchyu and Drake have certainly given fans plenty to talk about.
But when it comes to putting an official label on their relationship, Pinkchyu isn't ready to spill the tea.
For now, the “goth baddie” is keeping that answer to herself.
