What happened
Hamilton said he saw a white Lexus crashed near the guardrail and assumed the driver needed help. As soon as he checked on the man, the suspect reportedly sprang up, rushed his car, and launched into a violent attack.
According to reports, the assault lasted nearly 30 seconds and left Hamilton with bruises, broken ribs, and a brain bleed. Deputies later arrested the suspect, who now faces multiple charges tied to the attack and his confrontation with responding officers.
