Fiery motorcycle crash caught on camera

A dramatic fiery motorcycle crash in San Antonio, Texas, was caught on camera after a rider lost control, slammed into a curb, and burst into flames. The footage shows nearby children running for safety as the rider, identified as Josh, caught fire and then rolled in the grass to extinguish the flames.

What happened

The crash happened around 4:30 p.m. at Oakwood and Wooden Fox in the Stonecreek subdivision on the Far Northeast Side. Surveillance video shows the motorcycle sliding before striking the curb and igniting, while children standing nearby ran away from the fireball.

Rider’s condition

Josh said he was traveling too fast and leaned the bike the wrong way before losing control. He suffered injuries that required surgery, but reports say he is expected to recover.

Why people reacted

Neighbors said the biggest shock was how close the fireball came to children in the area. No other injuries were reported, and residents are now urging traffic calming measures like speed bumps and four-way stops.
