CoreWeave Strikes $21 Billion AI Computing Deal With Meta

CoreWeave has struck an expanded $21 billion AI infrastructure deal with Meta, extending support for Meta’s AI workloads through December 2032. The agreement builds on their earlier $14.2 billion partnership and includes access to Nvidia-based systems for Meta’s compute needs.

What changed

This latest announcement is an expansion of an existing relationship, not a brand-new partnership. CoreWeave said the deal reflects demand from major AI companies for high-performance cloud capacity, and its CEO described it as another example of leading firms choosing CoreWeave for demanding workloads.

Why it matters

The size of the contract shows how aggressively Meta is spending to secure the computing power needed for AI development and deployment. It also reinforces CoreWeave’s position as a major player in AI infrastructure after earlier deals with Meta and OpenAI.
