Channing Tatum SLAMS Claims He Has a SECRET Instagram Account
The Magic Mike star addressed the speculation directly on his Instagram Story, making it clear that he is not behind the account and saying he cannot believe people thought he would spend his free time doing something like that.
“Yo I truly can’t believe y’all think this is what I’m doing with my free time,” Tatum wrote, calling the situation “f***in hilarious.”
Where the Rumor Started
The speculation centered around an Instagram account using the handle @bidness_nonya, which had reportedly been leaving pointed comments about celebrities, including Tatum’s former fiancée, Zoë Kravitz, and her fiancé, Harry Styles.
What caught people's attention was that Tatum's verified Instagram account appeared to be the account's only follower. That detail quickly sent social media users into detective mode and fueled theories that Tatum himself was secretly operating the page.
The account has since gone inactive.
“Why Would I Follow a Burner Account?”
Tatum had a pretty simple question for those who believed the theory.
“Also why would I follow a burner account if I didn’t want people to connect me to it?” he wrote.
He then added an even more direct clarification: “I only have one IG account @channingtatum.”
His response came after several days of online speculation surrounding the anonymous account and its comments.
Fans Connected the Account to His Ex
The theory gained momentum because some of the account's posts appeared critical of Kravitz and Styles.
Tatum and Kravitz began dating in 2021 after working together on Blink Twice, which Kravitz directed and Tatum starred in. They became engaged in 2023 before ending their relationship in October 2024.
Kravitz later began a relationship with Styles, and the pair became engaged in 2026. That history made the comments from the anonymous account particularly interesting to social media users looking for a connection to Tatum.
However, there is no verified evidence that Tatum operated the account.
Another Explanation Emerges
As the rumor spread, online investigators also pointed to evidence suggesting the account may have previously been a fan page dedicated to Tatum.
Pop culture commentator Stephanie Tleiji noted that the account had changed names and had characteristics inconsistent with being Tatum's secret profile. Other reporting also noted that the account had apparently been around in different forms before the recent controversy.
That has given the viral theory another possible explanation: Tatum may simply have followed an account that had previously been a fan page and later changed its content.
Tatum Wants the Rumor Put to Rest
For now, Tatum's position is straightforward: he says the anonymous account is not his and that he operates only his verified Instagram profile.
What started as a few suspicious comments and one unusual follower connection quickly became a viral celebrity theory. But without evidence linking Tatum to the account, the actor appears ready to leave the speculation behind.
As far as Tatum is concerned, managing a secret Instagram account to comment on his exes is simply not how he wants to spend his free time.
